Build your own box/Dynamic combo:
This feature can be used to build a customized box of products by the user on the fly on your website.
EasyEcom facilitates the order and inventory management of a build-your-own box of products or dynamic combo orders from your website.
Business Use Case 1
Buyers can choose to buy a certain number of products at a fixed cost from the website. The products and their respective quantities can be manually chosen by the buyer and can vary from order to order.
For example, buy any 3 perfumes at Rs. 1298-
Business use case 2:
Buyers can choose to buy any number of products and build a box/gift box where the final price of the box will be calculated depending on the products chosen by the customer.
For example, customers can choose the type of box/basket and the products to be added to the box/basket.
How does this work in EasyEcom?
Step 1:
The actual dynamic combo SKU needs to be created in EasyEcom as simple products along with all the possible child SKUs that buyers can choose on the seller's website.
Step 2:
All the SKUs need to be mapped with respective website SKU listings in EasyEcom.
Step 3:
Please contact EasyEcom Support Team to get the custom handling enabled on the account level for the order and inventory management of the dynamic combo orders.
Step 4:
When the order is imported into the EasyEcom system, multiple suborders will be automatically created based on the products chosen by the buyer at the time of placing the order. So, every order will be having dynamic SKU and the actual child SKUs chosen by the buyer.
Step 5:
Once the order is imported into EasyEcom, the user can pick the items as per the picklist and process the order further as per usual order processing methods.
Invoicing:
There are two pricing methods by which invoices can be generated:
1. Dividing the total amount by the number of products:
Suppose, if there are 4 child products chosen by the buyer for Rs.1000, in the invoice, Rs, 250 will be allocated to each product and the dynamic combo SKU will have the price of Rs 0.
2. Dividing the amount based on the proportion of MRP of the products:
Suppose, if there are 4 child products chosen by the buyer for Rs.1000, in the invoice, then the total price will be proportionately divided and allocated to each product as per their MRP and the dynamic combo SKU will have the price of Rs 0.
