Movable Bin GRN Process (USN Type 5)

Movable Bin GRN Process (USN Type 5)

Software Plan: Growth & Enterprise
Account Type: Seller Account & 3PL
Inventory Type: Serialized

Overview

Movable Bin is used in GRN where items are scanned directly into a bin during inward, and the same bin is used until putaway is completed.

Instead of moving items to bins after GRN, the bin itself is used during receiving and then taken for putaway.

When to Use this

This is used where teams already handle inward using bins instead of totes.

People pick empty bins, and scan items directly into them. Separate bins are usually used for good and bad items.

Putaway happens later using the same bins after GRN is completed.
