Feature description

This feature allows sellers to create distinct "Sales Channels" to categorize orders originating from various platforms or sources under a unified vertical. Once a Sales Channel is created, sellers can map specific B2B customers to it. This mapping enables sellers to associate customers operating within a particular vertical with the corresponding Sales Channel.

Use Case

Scenario:
An e-commerce seller supplies products to multiple B2B customers who operate through different QuickCommerce platforms such as Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, and Blinkit. Managing and tracking orders from each of these platforms individually can become complex and time-consuming.

Solution:
Using the Sales Channel Mapping feature, the seller can create a Sales Channel named “QuickCommerce”. This unified channel represents the entire QuickCommerce vertical. The seller then maps the B2B customers associated with Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, and Blinkit to this Sales Channel.

Outcome:
All orders placed by these customers are now grouped under the “QuickCommerce” Sales Channel. This allows the seller to easily track, manage, and analyze orders based on the business vertical rather than individual platforms. It also simplifies reporting, inventory planning, and performance analysis for that segment of the business.

Workflow

Step 1: Go to Masters (main menu) > Customer Master.

Step 2:  In the "Wholesale Customers" tab, click on the "Hamburger Menu".

Step 3: Select "Create/Update Sales Channels".

Step 4: Enter the Sales Channel Name.

Step 8: Add the Sales Channel in the Sales Channel column.

Step 9: Click "Upload CSV" and choose the sheet.

Step 10: Click 'Upload".
