This knowledge base document provides step-by-step instructions on how to update the registered address in an invoice within EasyEcom. A registered address is a critical component of any official business document, and ensuring it is accurate is essential for legal and compliance purposes.


Before you proceed, make sure you have the necessary access and permissions to update the registered address in your invoices. 

Steps to Update Registered Address in an Invoice

1. Navigate to Account Settings:

  • Click on the Meatball menu (three dots) in the top right corner of the dashboard.

  • Go to Account Settings.

2. Access Finance Settings:

  • Within the Account Settings, locate the "Finance settings”. Click on it to proceed.

3. Update Registered Address in Invoice:

  • Look for an option related to the registered address. It is labeled as "Update Regd Address in Invoice” Click on this option to open the address details form.

4. Fill in the Details:

  • In the address details form, update the registered address. Ensure that the address is accurate and complies with legal requirements in your jurisdiction.

  • You need to provide information such as the Seller Name, Regd Address, Ph No. ,Email Address, CIN, PAN

5. Save Changes:

  • Click the “Save” button to save your changes.

Copy Address to All Locations (Optional)

If your business has multiple locations or branches, EasyECom offers the option to copy the updated registered address to all child locations. Here's how to do this:

1. Locate the "Copy to All Locations" Option:

  • After saving the updated registered address in the main settings, look for an option that allows you to copy this address to all child locations. This option is located in the same submenu.

2. Select "Copy to All Locations":

  • Click on the "Copy to All Locations" to apply the updated registered address to all your business locations.


3. Save Changes

  • Make sure to “save” the changes to ensure that the registered address is applied to all child locations.

Note: If the option “Copy to all locations” is enabled then it will not be feasible to change the registered address at any child location.
