Outbound Quality Check (QC)

What is Outbound QC?
Outbound QC is a quality check process through which you can inspect every Unit before shipment to verify that each Unit complies. If any or all Units are not in compliance, you can immediately replace the non-conforming units with units that comply with the shipment.

How to Enable Outbound QC?
Step 1- Account Settings>>Other Settings>> Enable outbound QC



For serialized accounts, you may either choose to "create picklist for QC failed items" or "swap serials directly in the packing station"

For non-serialized accounts, "create picklist for QC failed items" is by default enabled when Outbound QC is enabled.

1. If the "Swap serial directly in the packing station" is selected and you have marked an item QC failed in the packing station, then
Go to Orders>>Order Batches>>Action>>select "Swap QC Failed serials">> Scan the new serial and enter




if no QC fail serial is there in the batch, then the system will notify you when you click swap QC failed serial



2. If "Create picklist for QC failed" item is selected, then a new picklist will be generated for the QC failed items and that picklist will be processed as per the account setting-

  1. a. When HHT is OFF and tote is disabled-
  2. For the QC failed items of a batch, the system will generate another picklist containing the replacement of those items.
  3. This picklist can be further processed according to the warehouse workflow.

  4. b. HHT is OFF and tote is enabled-
  5. Step 1-  Select a tote for the newly generated picklist.


  6. Step 2- Navigate to the toggle menu>>Orders>>Process Orders>>Scan tote


When the tote is scanned, the system will take you to the order processing page.
Step 3- Confirm order>>Packing station>>Scan tote>> Proceed with the  standard order processing flow in the warehouse.


  1. c. HHT is ON and the tote is disabled-
  2. Step 1- Scan the SKU/Serial with HHT and Submit


  3. Step 2-View order to confirm>>Slide right to confirm the order


  1. Step 3- Go to the web>>Orders>>Process orders>>Scan Picklist>>Start scanning>>Scan SKU/serial>>Proceed with the standard order processing flow in the warehouse.

  2. d. HHT is ON and the tote is enabled-
  3. Step 1- Scan or enter the tote  HHT


Step 2- Scan SKU/Serial>> Submit



Step 3- View order to confirm>>Slide right to confirm the order



  1. step 4- Go to the web>>Orders>>Process orders>>Scan tote>>Start scanning >>Scan SKU/Serial>>Proceed with the standard order processing flow in the warehouse.

e. HHT is ON, Pigeon hole is enabled and tote is disabled.
In case of a multi-item picklist,
Step1 - Scan the Serial/SKU with HHT device
Step 2- Step 3- Take the items to the sorting station and sort
Step 4- Put the items in the directed pigeonhole, and scans the pigeon hole barcode to let the system know that the pigeonhole putaway has been done.
Step 5- Scan them at the packing station and generate the order document.
f. HHT is ON, Pigeon hole is enabled and tote is enabled.
In case of a multi-item picklist,
Step 1- Scan tote with HHT device
Step 2- Scan Serial/SKU
Step 3- Take the items to the sorting station and sort
Step 4- Put the items in the directed pigeonhole, and scans the pigeon hole barcode to let the system know that the pigeonhole putaway has been done.
Step 5- Scan them at the packing station and generate the order document.
