How to Upload Serviceable Pincodes for a Carrier

How to Upload Serviceable Pincodes for a Carrier

Overview

When a carrier is configured with Serviceability Type as To Selected Pincodes, the serviceable pincodes must be uploaded in Carrier Master using a CSV file. This page also allows you to download the existing pincode coverage or delete all uploaded pincodes for the carrier.

Masters > Carrier Master

Upload Selected Pincodes

  1. Locate the carrier configured with Serviceability Type = To Selected Pincodes.
If the carrier has not yet been configured, first complete the carrier integration.
  2. Click Download Pincode CSV Template.

  3. Enter the required pincodes in the downloaded template and save the file in CSV format.

    ColumnDescription
Carrier_CodeEnter the carrier code displayed in brackets next to the carrier name in Carrier Master. Example: HO2916-175188.
    PincodeEnter one pincode per row.
    PriorityEnter the required priority value.
    Routing_CodeOptional.
    Shipping_MethodOptional.
ActiveOptional. If left blank, the uploaded pincode is treated as active.

  4. Under Upload Carrier Pincodes, click Choose File and select the completed CSV file.
  5. Click Upload.

The uploaded pincodes become available for the selected carrier. Future serviceability checks use the uploaded pincode coverage.

Notes
  • Upload the file in CSV (.csv) format only.
  • The uploaded pincodes are mapped to the carrier specified in the Carrier_Code column.
  • Enter only one pincode in each row of the CSV file.
  • Routing_Code, Shipping_Method, and Active are optional fields.

Manage Existing Pincode Coverage

Use the available options in Carrier Master as required:

  • Existing Pincodes Coverage: Download the existing pincode coverage.
  • Delete All Pincodes: Delete all pincodes currently uploaded for the carrier.
Note: The pincode upload process is required when Serviceability Type is set to To Selected Pincodes. The carrier-specific credentials and other integration details depend on the carrier being configured.
