Amazon smart connect integration:
When any new site is launched by Amazon, Amazon provides those details to EasyEcom. If any seller wants to integrate Amazon smart connect, they will have to contact EasyEcom's team.
EasyEcom will send the application to Amazon on the behalf of the client for integration. Once Amazon approves the request, Amazon will send the credentials (location ID and KMS key) to EasyEcom.
EasyEcom will pass on the credentials to the seller.
How to Integrate Amazon smart connect:
Step 1: Go to the Meatball menu (three dots) > Account Settings
Step 2: Click on Add Channels > Amazon Smart Connect
Step 3: Add the location ID and KMS key
Enter the location ID and KMS key provided by Amazon/EasyEcom.
After adding the details, click on "Add channel". You will be redirected to the Amazon login page
Step 4: Enter Amazon credentials and agree to the terms and conditions
Once you are redirected to the Amazon login page,
You are required to enter your Seller Central super admin (Primary) credentials and make sure that these credentials belong to the Merchant token/ Amazon Account's migrated location ID.
Any Mismatch in these credentials will result in an Unauthorized error issue on later phases.
Once you sign in the Terms and condition pop-up will appear, you are required to accept to the terms and conditions.
After you provide the consent, you will be redirected to EasyEcom and the integration will be completed.
How to import your Amazon smart connect product listings in EasyEcom?
Step 1: Go to the navigation menu > Inventory > Manage listings > Import listing
Step 2: Download the template file and fill in the details
The following excel file will be downloaded.
SKU, ListingRefNumber, GUID, MRP, and Identifier are the mandatory columns.
Step 3: Upload the Excel file
Once you have filled in the necessary details, select Amazon smart connect/Flex as your marketplace as shown in the above pop-up. After you select the marketplace, an option to upload the file will come.
Click on the “Choose File” button and select this file from your system. Then click on the “Upload” button.
Note: Amazon smart connect does not import the SKUs which has plus “+” sign in the SKU. While importing listings, all the SKUs containing the plus sign will be restricted.
Important Points:
Location Capacity Breach:
Amazon Smart Connect restrict the WI and SI Nodes Location Capacity during the Sale Events,
The Sellers are required to maintain below SOP for order processing:
- Sellers should process the Orders with SLA <<24 Hours first then any orders with the greater SLA
- During the Sale Event periods Amazon follows strict location capacity guidelines,
Hence during peak Sale events the Location/Site's capacity can be breached to process the future SLA orders, For any such cases the Orders processed with SLA>>24 hours will be displayed with the below error in the Failed section:
" The site's capacity has been exceeded for future SLA orders. Kindly process orders with an SLA of less than 24 hours. The current order will be released once the location capacity is restored"
- The Sellers are required to process only the Current SLA orders for the given case, The orders will be released once below mentioned conditions are met:
- The Location Capacity has been restored by Amazon operations team
- The SLA of the order becomes less than 24 Hours
Interoperability Feature:
- The Amazon Team has developed the Interoperability feature to ensure any New orders can be imported into the EasyEcom for processing on case of any Tech issue for order import;
- To Import the Orders via Interoperability feature please follow the below steps:
In the toggle menu, navigate to “Orders>>Importing Wizard”
- Upload file:
To upload your file, first select the date range and marketplace as Amazon Smart connect from the drop-down options.
Select the Format as Amazon Smart Connect:
Choose the Open order Option and Upload the Amazon panel's sheet directly.
Please Ensure the CSV File remains unchanged from the smart connect panel
Once the sheet is uploaded, the order will be queued for importing; you can check the job status in the Upload section.
- Ensure all listings are converted to Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) before syncing inventory.
- Update the item and packaging dimensions for all listings.
Updating these dimensions in SmartConnect is mandatory, as listings without these updates will not go live.
